Hi, my name is Sarah Lennon. I live with my husband David and our two children Savannah and Luke on a 10 acre mini- farm in Hillsborough, North Carolina. I have always had an incredible love for all of God’s furry and feathered friends. Long before we had our first child my husband and I knew we wanted our children to have the same amazing experiences and bonds that only animals, especially dogs, can provide. Eighteen years and 2 horses and 6 dogs, later we have been blessed to be able to provide our children with this amazing gift. There is not a day that goes by that one all of our lives are not deeply touched and enriched through sharing our lives with these wonderful animals.
We Breed Champions
At Berry Hill Bostons, we take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our dogs. Our Boston’s are first and foremost our family and a huge part of our lives. They eat when we eat, they sleep where we sleep, and they play when we play. Our breeding program is based on preserving and propagating the true “American Gentleman”. We breed to the strict breed standards set by the AKC, and are scrupulous in choosing the dogs we accept into our breeding program. We select for health, temperament, conformation, intelligence and maintain a strict code of ethics in our program. All of our dogs are fully vetted and have been cleared of hereditary diseases known in the Boston breed. Our dogs are DNA tested and cleared for JHC, DM, HUU. As well as OFA registered and CHIC Certified thru the AKC for CERF, BAER, Cardiac, and Patella. Our adults are also radiographed and cleared of hemivertibrea prior to induction into our breeding program. Our dogs and puppies are integral parts of our lives and family. Our Placement Process
At Berry Hill Bostons, we continue to care about our animals long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy to only place our puppies in extraordinary, loving, and responsible families. To make sure our animals get the forever homes they deserve, we carefully interview all potential owners. All of our puppies/dogs are placed with a lifetime welcome home policy which is stated in our contract. If you feel like you are a ready to make the life long commitment to one of our puppies the first step in our placement process is completion of a puppy application. This helps us to get to know you a little as well as gain knowledge of what you are looking for in your next Boston baby.
